Motivation Letter Essay
Financial matters, as a field, had consistently interested me directly from my school days. As I grew up, I bit by bit came to welcome the significance of financial matters in the advanced world. In the college, I was blessed to have been presented to many fascinating and testing fields. In any case, I eventually decided to study Accounting, which gives me principal information on numerous financial related speculations and ideas, just as commonality with measurements and information examination. I additionally took in the fundamental principles of Economics in courses, for example, Finance, Management, Accounting and Public Finance. In this way I improved it with CMA Certificate courses directly after graduation in 2006 These courses uncovered to me the significance of the financial part in the general public, other than that I understood that Economic and Finance experts have the favored chance of overseeing resources and investigating dangers to guarantee the future accomplishment of an organization or association. In 2010 and in the wake of having three years experience as Customer Service and Letters of Credits and Guarantees Officer, Business Development Officer at Bank Audi, and One year as Senior Account Officer/Corporate Business Development at Bank of Jordan, I understood the significance of fund and venture, giving the way that the principle choice of any undertaking is the place to put away cash and how to assess speculation openings. Along these lines, I chose to seek after postgraduate examinations in venture and fund that would in a perfect world supplement my scholarly information and experience, yet tragically the current miserable circumstance in my nation freezes all my scholastic possibilities. So Iââ¬â¢m appearing to be a piece of a deferential program and a chance to meet individuals and market analysts in one of the world most created countries. In 5 years, I see myself driving a speculation and budgetary segment where I am included structure productive worldwide business relations, planning organized money related items and overseeing all around broadened and viable portfolios by fusing bleeding edge approachs and refined devices that offer a significant venture chance to the likely financial specialist. All through this course I will use my current aptitudes with the information on fund and financial matters that will assist me with achieving my medium-term vocation objectives to oversee capital, make portfolios, perform mergers and acquisitions, and guarantee future monetary soundness for companies, just as assisting money related administrations industry with making the privilege budgetary choices that will prompt monetary strength and significant yields. Wall Street Journal Executive Summary Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words - 2
Money Street Journal Executive Summary - Essay Example The European Central bank chose to charge the business banks to profit cash on stores. To mitigate pointlessly colossal measures of capital into the country, the Central Bank of Denmark savagely chose to print kroner. Nations that were in milestone of breakdown, for example, Spain, can recuperate their expectation by undercutting treasury charges that are term. These treasury charges offer back to financial specialists in the nation less principals than they started with. Various European nations, inside and out of the Eurozone, sold away polite liabilities with developments of not over five years at a negative yield. This considered financial specialists liable for the installment of benefits in holding it. On the off chance that lone they would sell the bonds at significantly more significant expenses, they would appreciate benefits. Switzerland was not abandoned either, as it sold out a total of bonds developing in 2025 and 2049. Ten years down the line, the yield was at a negative level when contrasted with the most current comparative security around two months back. Costs of Swiss securities which were developing as long as eleven years in the days to come have climbed in the optional market, so that their yields have drafted into the negatives. Switzerland later got upset about the outcomes that would follow the acquisition of a lot of euros to keep up the concealment of franc thus it chipped its furthest breaking point on the franc and diminished the store rates by 0.75%. The remote market in this way, was exposed to disturbance. The way that it accepting cash to include money as store renders the humble in cynicism yield of the present multi year security as engaging. An indistinguishable circumstance happens to be knowledgeable about the Eurozone, as the Europe Central Bank has balanced its store rates and diminished them by 0.2% at that point hostilely bought securities. This occurred in January. Speculators were frightened off by the way that emptying would perhaps happen in the country. They were likewise disheartened coincidentally

In Too Deep
In Too Deep Itâs easy to believe Earth turns slowly on its axis: itâs always there, and weâre a part of it, deep in the middle of its rotation. Consumerism is similar: itâs all around us, everywhere we turn, seemingly unstoppableâ"Hellâs self-consuming flame. But Earth doesnât turn slowly: itâs spinning at over a thousand miles an hour. This became easy for us to understand once we stepped back and paid attention, once we became aware of our surroundings. Similarly, we neednât look at all this mass-consumption and over-indulgence and believe itâs normalâ"itâs not. Things havenât always been this wayâ"this chaotic, this meaninglessâ"and the future neednât be, either. A sunrise is on the horizon, and we can see it once we open our eyes, become aware of whatâs important, and realize weâre in too deep. Subscribe to The Minimalists via email.

Call If You Need Me Analysis Free Essays
Call if you need me 1. Analyse the point of view. The point of view is based on the narrator written in a first person view talking the in the past. We will write a custom essay sample on Call If You Need Me Analysis or any similar topic only for you Order Now 2. Analyse the setting. The main characters in the story are Nancy and the narrator, Dan. The story takes place in Eureka in California. When the story takes place is unknown, but in the story it is common to have a car, so I am guessing that the story takes place somewhere in the present. 3. Give a character description of Dan and Nancy. Nancy is tall, long-legged brown woman with brown hair and eyes. She wants the relationship between Dan and her work, but somehow something keeps interfering. She is stuck in the past with the bad memories of Dan. There is no physical description of Dan, but he is also trying to make their relationship work. He is much more optimistic than Nancy. 4. Analyse the plot. The situation in this story begins with that their marriage is in trouble, so they are sending their son to work at a farm, while they try to work on their marriage. As they try to spend time together only focusing on themselves, they seem to be surrounded by good luck. But it leads to a disaster when Nancy starts crying while she is remembering the past. Dan tries to comfort her and telling that they will make it, but she is avoiding every opportunity. Then Dan sees some white horses in their yard and suddenly the Nancyââ¬â¢s mood started changing. She starts to see the light instead of being surrounded by darkness. As a result they got a fresh new start and he drives her to the airport, where she will go back home and she will be writing to Dan. In the when Dan comes back to the house and he immediately starts calling Susan, his ex-lover. 5. ââ¬Å"Iââ¬â¢ve missed you so much youââ¬â¢ve gotten lost somehow, I canââ¬â¢t explain it. Iââ¬â¢ve lost you. Youââ¬â¢re not mine any longerââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ Try to explain what Nancy means. Nancy has lost connection with Dan since their romance started to fade away. Perhaps she feels that she has lost to Susan. She envies Susan for taking Dan away from her. Now she is realizing it when she has a special moment with Dan. 6. A lot of things in the story are prophetic to the characters. Give examples. The story mentions the hummingbirds. Dan says that it is a good sign, he is not sure where he has heard it, but he is sure of it. Also a fisherman is wishing them good luck. 7. What does the white horses symbolize? Support your answer by quotes from the texts. I think that the white horses represent hope, faith and a fresh new start for their relationship. The color white purity, light, hope and a successful beginning. ââ¬Ëââ¬â¢I donââ¬â¢t think theyââ¬â¢ll bite,ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ ââ¬Ëââ¬â¢They donââ¬â¢t look like the kind of horses thatââ¬â¢ll biteâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ It can be a symbol of hope for their marriage that there still is hope for them. 8. Why does Nancy feel elevated by the presence of horses? It can be because she is an animal lover or that she is living the moment, where nothing shall interfere her moment. She will not let Dan call the sheriff while she is living the moment patting the white horses. 9. In the ending we hear of a plane, hoof prints and a telephone. What do these things represent? The plane can represent the path Nancy is choosing and the hoof prints are traces of her, meanwhile the phone is the path Dan chooses. We do not know what happens after he called Susan. Perhaps he is going to call her and tell her that he is going to stay with Nancy or perhaps he will take the other path and go back to Susan. The telephone represents what path Dan is going to take. 10. The themes of the story might well be: Love and married life; infidelity; having to live up to ideals; being able to live in the moment. Choose the theme you find the most interesting, and show how the theme is expressed in the story. I think that the most interesting theme in this story is ââ¬Ëââ¬â¢being able to live in the momentââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢. You can clearly see that atmosphere is changing into romance in the story, when something good is happening, example: the white horses and when Nancy says ââ¬Ëââ¬â¢Iââ¬â¢m glad weââ¬â¢re here. ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ I think that living in the moment is the most suitable theme in this story, because it makes them think a second time before getting a divorce, if they really want to stop seeing each other. Organisation in Decision Making Process â⬠Free Samples to Students
Question: Discuss about the Organisation in Decision Making Process. Answer: Introduction This research is aimed to help the national veterans organisation in decision making process, so that the organisation can better target the donors. If the organisation is able to identify the most likely donors then it can only target such group and save money and effort on targeting the whole group. As per the given information, organisation has data base of more than 3.5 million individuals. In this research the identification of the probable donors will be on the basis of their previous behaviours. Through the analysis a certain group of individuals will be targeted who have donated recently (12 and 24 months ago). As shown in the table below the class level threshold at kept at 2. This has been done so that the binary variables are taken as the categorical variables. Similarly the table also shows that rejection level count threshold has been set as 100. This will ignore the variable which has more than 100 different values. In this case the target variable is Median Income Region ( DemMedIncome) . As shown the figure above this variable has very skewed distribution. The mode value for the variable is zero. As discussed in the previous section the median income is zero. However the median income cannot be zero as the median value is the middle value of the entire data set. Since the data is related to the probable donors the income of the individuals are expected to be higher than the average income of the people. So there might be some issues while collecting the data(Kara 2013). Firstly, the sanity check should be done to understand whether the data collection was done properly or not. In case the zeros are some code for the people, it should be clearly stated so that it should not confuse the analyst. After the rectification of the income variable the next step was data partition. As the given information partition of the data set conducted and the data was distributed into training and test data where each set was allotted 50 % of the original data. As shown in the table above the data partition was done. There were total 4844 observations in the data set, out of which 2420 were taken as the training data. Results from gradient boosting are shown in the figure below. Gradient boosting is used is one the most common machine learning technique used for classification and regression models. Results from the gradient boosting help to prediction of model, especially the decision trees. Since the dependent variable is binary the logistic regression model has been used and the results from the regression analysis are shown in the table below(McCarty Hastak 2007). In this section the results from all the three models has been compared. For comparing the model comparison node was used. Three ROC curve from three different model are shown below. All the three models are compared against the baseline model which has been calculated only using the average values. The lift with highest distance from the baseline is a better model. From the graph it can be observed that gradient boosting is having highest lift both in training as well as validation(Trebuna et al. 2014). After the summary statistics the next step was to check the missing values in data set. Results from the missing value shows that there are 2407 missing values. So after removing the missing values from the data set the number of observation is now 7279. Market Basket Analysis and Association Rules The lift value shows the importance of the rule. In this case the lift value is greater than 1 which suggests that rule body rule head comes together more often than expected. In other words the occurrence of the rule body shows positive impact on the rule head. People who buy Magazine Candy Bar together are also likely to buy Greeting Cards also. So the company should target those customers to increase sale of both the product. Similarly people are likely to buy Candy Bars with pencils. This is mainly because kids would be the consumer who buys pencils hence also goes for Candy Bars. The promotional strategy could be that they offer candy bars with purchase of more number of pencils. People who buys photo processing also buys Magazine which makes sense logically as Magazine contains various photographs which might interest people. Hence they get ideas around photography if they go through Magazine as well. Promotional strategy could be to bundle the two goods cross sell other magazines as well. References Fokin, D. A Right to a Diverse Life Essays - Pluralism, Christianity, Religion
A Right to a Diverse Life Patriarch Bartholomew's assessment that pluralism is important in today's multicultural society is accurate because religion s hould not be forced upon anyone. This assessme nt aims to create an environment where peace and diversity can be protected. Patriarch Bartholomew argues that in order to achieve his goal of promoting diversity , we must first take a step back and reevaluate ourselves ; how we as Christians treat other religious groups . Christians decry Communism for being anti-religious when a more accurate assessment would be that it was anti-pluralist. There was a belief system in the Soviet Union: known as Marxism. Anything that was different from that belief system (ie: all religions) was violently suppressed. Belarus is one of the nations formerly under Communist rule. During that time, a fanatical, absolutist, government refused to allow any forms of pluralism to flourish. This becomes more than a question of which ideolo gy is correct, but t his was a violation of human rights. Under Communism no respect was shown to the beliefs of people. This is deplo rable to those of us who hold that all people are living icons of Christ . How then is modern day Belarus, a so-called Orthodox country that should hold this same belief in the inherent dignity of every human person, justifying its suppression of pluralism? It does not matter if the "religion" is militant atheism or Ortho dox Christianity, no religion should ever be forced upon anyone. The U.S. is an example of a pluralist society, but even here it is not perfect. An average American classroom is very diverse. There are usually students from a wide variety of religious backgrounds such as Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and even atheists. There is still a concern in some areas with mixing religions, yet this is how our nation came together. The colonists came to this land in order to escape religious persecution. Would we really want that same persecution to occur here? Sadly, this is already the case. What happened to America being a melting pot- a shining example of pluralism for the world to follow? Recent spikes in Islamophobia certainly tell a different story. Even here, among different denominations of Christianity, pluralism is sometimes blatantly disrespected. Despite recent movements towards embracing diversity, Protestantism is still the most common and accepted religion in this country. My own high school experience was one of a lack of tolerance. I felt oppressed being the only Orthodox person in a predominantly Born-Again Christian environment. I was in the minority of the school and people harshly tried to get me to convert. Being Greek Orthodox was not really an option. Growing up we are instilled with the morals and traditions of our families and religion. If one day that was stripped away from us who would we be? Our identity would be in a way gone, and the way of live will be altered to fit those in power. In a Non-denominational church service, there is little to no similarities to the Orthodox faith service. Orthodoxy is about tradition and structure, while Born-again Christians are not as structured and are more lose' with their services. As a student enrolled at this school I had to partake in the weekly chapel services. Growing up in the Greek Orthodox Church I was very uncomfortable observing, yet alone participating in their form of worship. One example of this would be during our Spiritual emphasis week, an annual celebration of praise and worship. As Orthodox Christians we show our respect and faith to God through the sign of the cross. At my school, they do not make the sign of the cross, but have other ways to show respect to the Lord. During a point in the service I made my cross and a teacher approached me and asked to speak with me after service. The problem they said, was that they wanted me to participate in the service there way.' Meaning hands in the air praising the Lord and singing alone to their worship songs. If I can be suppressed in a tiny school on Long island, imagine what an entire nation and religious group felt like. The problem
